Refund policy
This policy applies to orders placed on www.spill-control-products.co.uk, which is operated by Express Matting Services Ltd (trading as Spill Control Products UK), Unit 1B, The Summit, Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 5HG, United Kingdom. Company No. 07000887.
14-day returns
You can return most items within 14 days of the date you receive them. Items must be unused, undamaged and returned in their original packaging with all parts and accessories.
How to return an item
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery by email at sales@spill-control-products.co.uk or by phone on 01744 520 110 (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00), quoting your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
- We will confirm your return and send you the returns address and instructions.
- Send the item(s) back within 14 days of telling us you want to return them. We recommend a tracked service and keeping proof of postage.
Return postage
If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you pay the cost of sending it back to us. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, or is not what you ordered, we will pay for the return or arrange a collection.
Refunds
When we receive and check your return we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods. If you return a whole order within the 14-day period, we also refund the standard delivery charge (£9.99). If returned items have been used or damaged, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
Please check your delivery when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if anything is damaged, missing or incorrect, with photos if you can. We will repair, replace or refund the item at no extra cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Items that cannot be returned
- Custom-made, cut-to-size or made-to-order items produced to your specification, unless they are faulty.
- Items that have been used or contaminated with oils, chemicals or other substances.
