The Bioactive Drain Gully Sock effectively digests oils to reduce cleaning needs. Ideal for use in separator chambers to absorb and break down free oils.
Effective Oil Digestion
The Bioactive Gully Sock can digest up to 2kg of oil each week, significantly reducing the need for separator cleaning. It operates by floating in separator chambers, absorbing and breaking down free oils with the help of specific bacteria.
Each sock remains active for 6 to 8 months, potentially digesting a total of 64kg of oil. For optimal performance, it is recommended to place one sock in the second chamber and two in the third chamber, allowing for the digestion of up to 6kg of oil weekly.
Highly Absorbent and Efficient
The Regular Drain Gully Sock targets oils, oil hydrocarbons, and their derivatives. It is highly absorbent, capable of soaking up to 20 times its own weight in various oils.
Even when fully saturated, the sock continues to float, making it easy to deploy and collect. Its non-toxic, non-reactive, and inert properties ensure safe use in environmental applications.
Cost-Effective Solution
Using the Drain Gully Sock not only aids in environmental protection but also reduces clean-up costs. This proactive approach helps maintain cleaner environments by preventing oil discharges before they occur.
